So last week we were lucky enough to be able to borrow the Trunki boostApak to give it a test drive and write a review on it, so I borrowed my cousin for a few hours and we went on a Trunki Adventure.
The boostApak is made by Trunki and for all of you who don't know about Trunki - they are a company who completely understands what it's like to travel with small children which is a real godsend - they are a company of big kids :-). The boostApak is the ideal travel accessory - it's perfect for taking a holiday as it allows your child to take their own hand luggage and makes them feel like a big kid doing so.
The contents of their backpack will be protected by the hard shell of the seat, which is where you are able to place your precious belongings! The backpack has been approved suitable for taking as airplane hand luggage. But the best bit is when you get to your destination, you can use the booster seat to ensure that your child can travel safely (and hygienically) in hire cars and taxis.
The BoostApak is made with the same care and quality as the other Trunki accessories. It is bring and bold and very appealing to both Parents and Children.
As a car seat, it is very easy to fit as the instructions are printed on the seat itself. The booster seat is a little more advanced than many other booster seats currently on the market as it has a fold-out fabric flap which you sit up against the main seat of the car. The flap has a red seat-belt guide that helps you place and locate the car's seat belt correctly to ensure maximum safety. BoostApak is certified to regulation ECE R44.04 for group 2 and 3, suitable for children aged between 4 - 11 years.
The cover of the bag is removable so you are able to take it off and give it a good clean when needed (we all know kids can be a little bit messy).

All in all I am very excited to be able to offer you the chance to purchase the BoostApak. We don't have a confirmed price yet but I am happy to say that I will be making it as affordable as possible as I think it is a great product to invest in for your children.
This item is definitely a genius idea - and lives up to the high expectations Trunki Sets for themselves. The BoostApak has some far won some very prestigious awards which is fantastic news after such a short time of being available. Awards that have been won recently are: Highly Commended in the Consumer Products Design Category (Was up against the iPad 2), Short listed in the D&AD Awards (winner announced in June), Silver in the 5-7awards as awarded by Practical Pre-School Awards (Europe), Gold in the Practical Parenting Awards in the Product Innovation Category and last but definitely not least it just took out the Best Travel Product Awards in the high end Junior parenting magazine in Europe.
